    '97 GP1200 Mirror Block-Off?

I have the mirrors removed, wondering if anyone has made any kind of block off plates for these? I've seen them for newer models, wondering if I could find or make some for mine to cover the holes/scratches from where the edges of the mirrors rubbed the body. Maybe some type of plastic or aluminum? Glued, or would that not hold, maybe riveted?

You'll have to make some I believe. I've looked before and never found any. The other option is finding a GP cowl without mirrors and painting it to match. I think there were a few GP models without mirrors. I believe the GP760(yellow) and GP800(blue??) did not have mirrors.
