    Question about Jim's SHO plate

I bought a Jim's plate for my SHO second hand. The center surface is machined but the mounting surface where it meets the hull isn't. Is this the way the SHO plates are?
I know on my gpr plate and some of the VX plates I have seen, the mounting area is machined at an angle.
I'm wondering if that's why I'm not pulling off better speeds than what I am now
    Thanks

    Crap, that's what I figured. I guess I didn't get what I was told.

If just the center section is machined, is it still possible to send to you to cut to your specs? Either way i'll send pics when i pull it this week and just verify its not your cut.
    thanks

I would have to measure everything up and make sure.
