    2006 RXT impeller housing

I was wondering if I should change the impeller housing on my RXT. I sucked up some rocks and the impeller and the wear ring got damaged, the fins on the housing got a few chunks taken out of them about the size of half a nickel. I was wondering if and how much this would hurt performance. Thanks

it will hurt performance, you need to grind all fins down with a dremel and grinding wheel flush to get back to normal and change the wear ring obviously. any sort of damage to the fins will cause cavitation/scrubbed speed. ask vern if you need more direction.
