The waterbox mod wont do much for you with the stock rev limiter, but it will make it louder. If you want it louder then go for it.

You may consider selling your R&D grate and going with a Riva.

Jerry, Brian was questioning doing the waterbox mod the other day since we have the waterboxes out of our skis but i told him that we wouldn't see any gains except for noise. So i would be correct then? Would it hurt to cut the J-pipe down per waterbox mod specs for easier removal? I cringe when i have to get rough with the J-pipe to get it out since it has that flex fitting. Remember our skis are under warranty as well and this may also be a reason not to do it.

You can cut it down if you want. Again, problably no gains in performance.

Thats cool it might just make taking the SC out a lil faster and with all these new parts coming out for the SCs i see it coming out a lot.

That's the main reason why I want to do the waterbox mod...free up space. Also the sound.

If done right, without question it frees up power across the range and improves low rpm power.
