Hey bud, this depends how much boost you'd like to run. You can run the kit with your stock ECU but will need a steep prop to keep the rpms down. Thought I would at least run a reflash for you to experience the potential of the turbo and even better a standalone ECU to get the full potential out of it.

The prop is dependent on boost, and what rpm you want to run.

What kind of internals would you need to run 8600 and about 15-17 psi. Pistons, valves..etc? Also at what boost does the driveshaft and intake mani become a weak link?

Aside from either Riva valvesprings or a set of retainers the rest of the stock internals on any of the 215+ motors can handle that boost with no problem. The driveshaft will hold until around 25 psi or so and the intake manifold will hold around 20 lbs or so before it goes.

Mac, do you already have the full riva valvetrain? If not I would definitely get it. Nick trashed his motor with just retainers.

The kit comes with various turbos for you to choose capable of 10 lbs all the way up to 30+- LBS as long as your engine is built for it.
