    Unhappy Sl 750 boggs out ....

    Well I rode today and the only way I could keep it from turning off from a slow stop was to use the choke and a lil more gas then it would go..smell gas too...any ideas ?

    Fuel

    Anytime you have to choke it is not getting fuel. Do not run it any more. These arent like cars. If they run lean they melt pistons which leads to a new motor many times and at least a hefty bill. There is some really good info on fuel systems in this forum. Read as much as you can find and rebuild the carbs, replace the fuel lines, and do the fuel pump upgrade.
    You'll be quite knowledgeable after that.

    If you're smelling gas, investigate it immediately!!!!!!

    Chances are, that's your problem......

    And yes, read up on your ski, there's some updating that needs to be done on that 17 yr old ski.
