1996 GSX: How To Remove The Carbs

I'm planning on replacing the fuel lines on a 96' GSX but have never removed/cleaned the carbs. Can someone explain how to remove / clean them?

Also do I need to tune/balance them?

    Thank you!

well get ready for a PIA. the good news is that you dont have to drop the pipe to get the carbs off. the bad news is that its in your way to get them off. pull the airbox off and then its just four allen head bolts, two in each carb. your going to need to investigate with a mirror, flashlight and feeling around for bolt heads.
