Loadrite trailers uses c clamps and bolts, so I just moved the orginal axle back purchase new axle, springs and fender from loadrite (a little over 250.00 bucks) and drilled new holes for the old and new axles and here we are.
Took about 3 to 5 hours of work. Mostly drilling the holes throught the galvanized took the most time.

The hull looks like it is really hanging off the back of the bunks. How much of the hull is unsupported back there?
Do the rear straps actually hold the hull down?

Just got back from a long road trip (Cape Charles VA to Columbus, OH and back) had no issues trailer really tracked well and I did 70/75 miles per hour the whole way up and down Interstate 64. I've not had any issue with the rear Ive always had safty straps and I have never noticed any adverse affects. Really easy to launch and retrieve and straps hold it down without issue.
