    1995 sl 750 engine dies

the problem is when i hit the gas from idle the engine just dies out like the carbs arent squirting fuel. if i take off gradually its fine. but if i get on it it just dies. i took the airbox/silencer off to look if the venturies were squirting fuel when i pull the trigger and they werent could this be the problem thanks, colin

Do you still have the original fuel pump? If so, it's possible it can't deliver enough fuel in high demand conditions.

Dying when you hit the throttle means there is a lean condition. This is bad and must be corrected unless you want to start replacing pistons.
