Hi Steven, welcome to the 'Hulk. Like Troy said above, come a little further south this weekend. BTW, we bayou state boys tend to hang out in this corner of the forum: http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...=1#post1720502

Hey, Steven, glad to see you found the place. There will be several of us riding in the Morgan City/Pierre Part, LA area this Saturday. It would take you about 2.5 to 2.75 hours to get to the boat launch. Try to make it. We should be riding about 10:00 to 11:00 Saturday morning and probably ride until 6:00 that evening. This would be an awesome time to meet people and put faces with a screen name.
Send me a private messege if you are interested and I will get you more details, cell phone number, etc. --Jeremy

Plus, when you see the waterways around Morgan City/Piere Part and The diversion canal/Amite River near Baton Rouge, you will realize the waters in Central LA are junk. Everything South is narrow and winding. Up here it is wide open river or a confined lake. You will just have to experience it to understand it.
