I have a steel head gasket on my Pro. it looks like it has 2 stuck together? Is that how they come? Can you split it and use just the one and bump up the compression? I guess a squish test would have to be done first huh?
That would raise the compression a lil huh?

Tom, you can split the head gaskets very easily with no issues. Yes it should bump up the compression a little. Dont worry about squish, it won't be affected enough to be concerned. Splitting the head gaskets is a common practice at my house. Be sure to use some copper kote on the gasket before you re install.
