Define got it. Won or lost?

From a dead stop or rolling start?

we was moving at 30 mph , the rxp throttled first to about a boat length then it took about a half mile to catch and pass . he didnt want to race earlier because he said it needed to break in before he let it have it . we have a spot in lake erie at the ohio michigan border that is 3 miles long that is flat all the time even though the lake always has 2 to 4 footers and i think he just wanted to find out . next time ill get him to do a true dead stop drag race .

From what I read, these skis are pretty evenly matched. I always wanted to see a stock ski to stock ski race, both in flat and in rough.
    Keep us posted.

i have noticed a big difference in the rough water compared to all the gps ive owned , the fzs is constantly accelerating in the rough to the point it will go faster than you can ride it in rough water , and i stand up and ride it very hard .

I have both skis but 2009. The X gps almost 2mph faster than the FZ but easily unhooked with stock grate.

We tested a new 2009 fzr (20 huurs)and a new 2009 rxt-x (15 hours)..we did 0 punch , 20 punch ,30 ,40 ,50 ,60, slolom ,rough water, glass water and you know what..............I have never ever seen two differant brand ski's so evenly matched..it was like they were glued together...the regular rxp wont usually hang with the FZR but a rxp-x will usually creep on by unless your in 1 foot chop............rxp's have an 8 vane pump which is an advantage down low. I like both ski's but prefer Yamaha..I guess its that pretty blue color or that 1.8 litre under the seat.

in this case we was on flat water and the yamaha was slightly faster , maybe the rotax will be faster when it breaks in more .
