What to look for when buiyng obe of these skis?

Will there be any difference in performance or just fuel comsumption..?

The Di is 1500$ more expensive so is it worth it..

I'm not an expert or don't have first hand knowledge, but from what I've read on this forum, you DON't want the DI. They are very hard to work on and way more expensive to repair. I'm sure somebody else will chime in who has some more knowledge on it.

The DIs are expensive to work on..though the hulls do have some improvements. Not worth $1500 IMHO. Look for grey fuel lines. They all need to be replaced. Is the other ski an XP or XP Limited?

DI units use much less fuel than a comparable carb model.

When they run they run great it's when they start having problems the parts are expensive and diagnosing problems is difficult unless you have access to the seadoo diagnostic software. This usually means throwing expensive parts at it or a visit to the local dealer.

I would not own one, IMHO save the $1,500 and get the carb model.

I'm gonna check the compression of the ski ('99 limited) before i buy it, it should be something between 135-150psi right?

Anything else i should be aware of?
