    1998 GSX limited... modded and no power

    I recently purchased two skis. One is a Millennium RX carbed 951 that is stock other than a R&D flame arrestor and carbs adjusted. It runs great.
    The other is a 1998 GSX limited with a white 951. It is modded and is a complete dog. It has a R&D head, pipe, intake manifold, and flame arrestor and will not turn more than 5950 RPM on pretty nice water.
    The RX destroys it. RX will turn 6900 or so on the same day. Checking compression tomorrow, but the previous owner stated that the compression was at 128psi. I'm leaning towards a carb or fueling issue. It runs ok... it just feels like its down about 20 hp compared to the stock RX. Suggestions???

    That gsx is the 97 1/2 model isnt it (grey top deck)

    Replace the fuel lines. When I did on my it ran like a rape ape. also do a compression test on the cylinder.

    Pulled the carbs and the fuel filters are clean. The previous owner told me he had cleaned them and they were clean. He also replaced the inlet fuel line and installed an inline fuel filter. I had to check to be sure they were clean though. So no dice on the carbs being the problem.

    And whats the compression on each cylinder ???

    20 feet do you have a picture of what i'm looking for as far as the GREY fuel lines go? thanks
