Very easy! Just pull the shaft, and stretch it over the bellows (just like a big rubber band), then put the drive shaft back in.

how many hours since your carbon seal was last replaced? Just asking because it is way easier to put the band on the bellows outside the ski. Also since your taking everything apart it might make sense to replace stuff anyway, kill 2 birds with one stone.

You just have to remove the drive shaft/ pull it out enough so that you can get band on the shaft. Then you have to pull it over the bellows boot.

Any special tools really required to pull the shaft, like this driveshaft tool?:

I've only got 50 hours on my carbon seal, but will replace it at the same time... any other parts I'm absolutely going to need to do this, besides the new bellow and carbon seal itself?

Don't buy the tool. Use the socket method to get the shaft to slide forward to remove the 'c' clip to remove the floating ring to remove the shaft. Replace the carbon seal and bellow when you do this. It is easier while you are there and has less chance of failure.

Trust me I spent 2 nights on 2 of my skis replacing bello bands and would not do it again without that tool. It can be done without it but man what pain in the ass it is without the tool. I immediately bought the tool form the store here and what a big difference in taking the driveshaft out now..

Took me just under an hour to do it. Including the bellow band, new bellow, carbon ring, floating ring, shaft plug, o-rings and c'clip. The socket method is the way to go. EASY EASY EASY!
