Can anyone recommend a supplier for rebuilt motors? SBT?
I need to replace the blown motor in my Wave Venture 1100. I was considering SBT, however after researching a bit, I've seen quite a few unhappy customers. Now I understand the old saying, "a happy customer tells 1 person, an unhappy customer tells 10," but I want to make sure I make the right decision. I'd like to buy a complete engine for a direct installation and attempt a rebuild of the old one at my leisure. Anyone have good experiences with SBT? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

SBT is not that bad
you will have to give them your core motor back or pay a core charge

I used pwcengine.com to rebuild a 1200pv. They rebuilt the motor i sent and sent it back within a few weeks. It was november so i was not in a hurry. You get a standard 2 year warranty and they are cjeaper than sbt. Look them up and give them a call thats what I did. So far no problems from my motor. It runs good and has plenty of power. Hope this helps.

LT92 is right. Go with PWCEngine.com. SBT should be avoided at all costs.
