Advice for removing the carbs off a gp1200r

I bought rebuild kits for my carbs, i started to remove them and i am stuck at the bottom long bolts that go into each carb. I took off the flame arrestors (sp?) and using a 10mm wrench tried to loosen up the bolts and no luck, they are starting to strip. I can't fit a socket in there so I don't know what to do, anyone have advice for removing these??
