    Help... Steering problems

Hey guys I my GTI is super hard to steer off idle speeds, its hard to turn the ski feels very unsafe, and this is the family ski I don't want them riding it till I fix this problem, so far all I can see going on in the steering area is two big rocks stuck in the pump venturi, and the wear ring is all scratched up, I looked at the opas and they look perfect, they are straight when the steering wheel is straight and when I turn the Wheel they turn just fine, any ideas guys? thanks in advance, for you help.

It seems you have some sand or debris in the opas or steering. Check the steering connections back on the pump that connects to the steering nozzle. Something is fishy back there.

Thanks again for the help dude, I'm going thru the whole opas system with a fine tooth comb in the AM, I hope its something as simple as sand or debris, Thanks Chris

Have you had the pump out recently?

Check the ends of the steering cable. I just had a cable crack right where the metal end is crimped to the sleeve. It would let me steer at idle, but nas soon as I put any throttle on it, the pressure was too much and it let the crack in the cable separate resulting in no steering ability. trying to go left was harder than trying to go to the right. Good Luck
