    Oil block off

I have a 05 and an 03 1300r. Wanting to go premix. Both skis are stock except for d plates. What ratio should I mix at?

    Conservative is 40:1

I believe that the variable oil injection on your stock machines will take it to (about) 32:1 when you are wide open and 50:1 when at idle.

I've run 40:1 for years with a high quality oil (Amsoil) with no issues.... unless the issues were self inflicted. Great lubrication, minimal cleaning on the power valves because it burns so clean, and minimal smoke when idleing.

My ski has about 167 hours on it do you think its time to clean the valves?
