??? on bad AFR, and RRFPR base setting

Just got my LC-1 installedÖ with an ET68-140, 42# injectors, and Rude RRFPR set at base 60, Iím seeing:
    Idle: 10 Ė 11
    Mid: 9.5
    WOT: 14 - 15

Yes, I know, not good. I think my SC needs a tune-up, because Iím only seeing 11# @ 8000 now, but at least thatís keeping my WOT from being worse. Plus, Iím on a smallish lake, and usually only do at most 30sec bursts of WOT at a time.

Iíve got some Bosch 48# injectors on hand, and supposively, Iíve got an all-in-one BEGi 2035 on the way. Bell Engineering charged me for it five week ago, and they keep telling me it'll ship in a couple of days, but it never comes. Not impressed at all, in dealing with them. I'm about a week away from cancelling the CC charge and going another route.

My question is, for the time being, is it a possibility for me to throw in the 48# injectors, and set the RRFPR base way down, or will that make it the AFR worse all around? Anyone else try this? Also, isnít it odd that my mid-range would be so rich with this setup? These are consistent results; I tested many times.

I would throw the 48's in there and lower the FP and just check your AFR's

and you definitely need to freshen up that charger, sounds like it's slipping.

Oh and file a claim and get your money back from the BEGI and save yourself some time and get a Rude fuel controller.

Those Injectors are way too small... They are rich on bottom and mid, but when you start boosting they can't supply enough which is why it's lean at top . 48's the way to go buddy, 11's are low for that.. my et was puttin mid 13's and needed rebuild. I see your from lakeland good deal.

I've got the same charger ,just installed it today, I checked the slip and it was at 18.3 lbs I'm starting with the bosch 48's and riva rrfpr with pulse line hooked up, I'm going to start at 62 lbs base and go down from there. I also have the riva ecu which is mapped for 50's. I've read on the hulk that the bosch's are better and easier to tune than the riva 50's Can't wait to get to the lake tomorrow and try it out!!

The 48's should be right for you. The ET site said it requires the 48's.

A compression test this morning tells me I've got bigger problems:
    #1: 100
    #2: 62
    #3: 65

Turning off the engine, you can hear the oil blow-by tube hissing. Looks like I've got a combination of blown rings and head gasket.
