    2009-2011 fx ho engine weight

    Does anybody know the engine weight, without exhaust, of the Yamaha 1800 NA?

    I believe ShoBiz posted the SHO engine was about 300lbs. That should be in the ball park.

    300 is a good weight. From experience shipping them.

    300 would be good for NA without exaust manifold. For SC with charger and IC its closer to 350 with exaust manifold.

    My SHO engine without SC, Exhaust, Intake or IC was about 280 lbs. in a crate
