The grate need a small amout of work to get it flush with the hull.

The rear bolts are slightly proud, I just machined the bolts head down so they dont hang out any more.

and the 2 front bolts are supplied with the grate , as they are longer
the rest are OK to use with above mention modification to the rear pair.

The previous owner did not supply the front 2 longer bolts. Are they universal? What size?

Do I need to use silicone around it too?

cant you work the bolt sizes out from the ones that you will remove? did your oem grate have any silicon applied? im sure you dont need someone to hold your hand to work all that out lol

Didn't open my stock grate yet, was asking for tips before doing so.

Nothing useful to say, no need to post

it was a useful tip like it or lump it lol just shits me that guys get on here and want everything worked out and handed over to them on a nice clean plate. surely sometimes you can work things out for yourself just like the rest of us have to do. dont mind helping but come on make some kind of effort in working it out. half the questions asked on here at times can be answered by the thread poster themself with a bit more thought and effort put in before taking the easy way out.
