Can U mix Amsoil interceptor synthetic 2-cycle oil with Amsoil HP synthetic 2-cycle?

I have a little left of the HP in a Virage TXi and a Seadoo GSX and would like to know if you can mix the two or has anyone done it and it has worked? I have maybe a 1/8 tank left in both but the low light is on and I would like to have it go off.

The two oils should mix without trouble.

    Why are you changing oils?

I would suggest you stick with the HP Injector oil. Interceptor is not TCW3 rated, which is what your Virage requires. I think most Rotax engines call for API TC which is a different spec. The Interceptor would be fine in the Rotax, but you should keep using HP in the Polaris.

I thought the Interceptor would be a better oil for both and they would last longer. I ordered 2 Gal of the Interceptor and now I'm thinking I should not use it in the Virage TXi at all.

I am using the Amsoil HP Injector oil on all my fuel injected Polaris Ficht engines, and expect to also use it on my two carburetor engines.

No oil related issues to date.

The TCW3 specification is actually an old outboard engine oil spec, which Polaris settled on back in the day. There are other oil specifications which are also useable in these engines, so don't get TOO hung up on that particular spec.

The key is to select a good quality oil that is compatible with your engine. Confirm the oil spec is reasonable, and go from there.
