How not to launch your PWC
I use to see this all the time when I worked at a Marina.

That's some funny stuff. You can always have a good time at a boat launch just watching other people being stupid.
Here is a pic from the boat launch near my house this summer.

A Dodge Ram pulled him out shortly after that photo. It was funny when they pulled it out and opened the doors to see the water come pouring out of the cab.

those are priceless...definiltely entertainment watching people launch their stuff.
I saw two awesome things this past summer when I took my boat out. The first was this guy with a f-350 with a lift...he was backing up the PWC trailer and couldn't see it, obviously. The trailer turned, he kept backing it up and ended up twisting the thing like a pretzel.
The second was this guy with his boat. For whatever reason he unhooked the winch cable before backing it into the water, so just the safety chain was hooked, and that had some play. His daughter was out of the car running around and was on the ramp in front of his truck...so to yell at her he jacked on the brakes and started yelling to get on the dock. Only when he did this the boat rolled right off the trailer, ripping the bow eye hook right out. The boat slid about 4 feet down the pavement and ended up in the water.
Both times, I was laughing hysterically watching from my boat.

We should all keep a disposable camera in our vehicles just for pictures like that. I wish I had a camera when I worked at the marina. I would have a couple of hundred pictures back then. Every weekend someone did something stupid. I could not tell you how many times I had people get out of their vehicle to back it down for them since they were holding up traffic.

I think the funniest I saw was a guy in a motor home (had a front hitch) backing his boat and trailer up the ramp when the u-joint broke and he wound up in the water but not before running over his new trailer/PWC combo.
Yes we helped him pull all his stuff out but not without laughing the whole time. The funniest part is he was just laughing at the guy in front of him because he didn't know how to back up his rig, THEN had to ask the same guy use his truck and help pull him out.
Moral of the story??
He who laughs last laughs best!!

Nice pics. I was laughing at the guy pointing to shore. NO SH!#! I got to admit I'm one of those guys that can't back his trailer for squat. My bed cover doesn't allow me to see the trailer without the ski on it. Funny to watch me take 7 attempts to roll straight back 25 ft. LOL I get all pressured knowing people are watching me, and do dumb stuff. Forgot the drain plug for one. DUHH!! (filled up to the driveshaft) Got my 2 WD stuck in the sand trying to pull the ski out. Some people helped push me while I was "rocking" it. Once she started to go I stayed on the gas, spinning the rear tires, OH DAM!!! I kicked up sand all in this poor guy's face that was helping me. I felt like a real dick b/c he was just helping, but it was funny as hell. I don't use the "jet ski ramp only" any more.
