    bilge problems

I have water coming in under the seat and one of the two bilge tubes lets water in instead of draining out. What do you do in this case?

    Welcome

Water is coming in where exactly?

The bilge siphon hoses should each have a plastic elbow in the middle. The elbows must be mounted up high in the hull in order to prevent water from back flowing into the hull when the engine is off. So each siphon hose must loop up high to the elbow, then the end with the mesh intake screen must be located low in the hull near the rear.

Also, each siphon elbow has a small hole in the side. That hole must be kept clear, but do not enlarge the hole.
