    new owner...few Questions

Hello all, I am a new 2003 MSX 150 owner, and so far I am very pleased with the PWC. I ran it the other day, and the turbo outlet hose (I think that's what it was) fell off, I reclamped it and she ran perfect all day and hit 66 MPH. Now I have 2 clamps holding it on so it stays secure.

I have a few questions though:
    1) Can I use Mobil 1 full synthetic 15w-50 in this engine? Where can I purchase the filter?
    2) What can I do to maintain the stock wastegate functionality?
    3) There is an un-bolted (unfastened) bracket in the engine bay and I'm not sure where it belongs. It is near the front of the engine bay. There is an electrical connector attached to the bracket, along with what appears to be a vaccum hose. Does anyone have a picture of this bracket?
    4) besides the oil change, what can I do to make sure it stays running well?

    I appreciate the help!

Looks like you got a good ski. Be sure to read K447's collection: http://polarispwcknowledge.shorturl....t-things-to-do

Beware and pay very close attention to his section on oil fill and change, I have made some mistakes with this issue.

previous owner said oil was changed last season, but I'm not sure what oil she used. I want to be sure the engine has fresh Mobil One 15w-50. However, how often does the filter have to be changed?

The stock MSX 150 engine contaminates the oil quickly (fuel dilution via piston blow-by). With the stock ECU it is suggested the oil be changed every 10-15 hours. With the ECU reflash (from Precisionsports) the oil change intervals can be extended.

The Weber turbo engine is rather sensitive to maintenance, so do read up on what needs to be done, and what upgrades are available.
