1998 SLHX - backfires when throttle is applied

Starts and idles but any throttle slows the rpm with loud firing including back firing.

I have a diode so the oil reads full and the fuel as the fuel sending unit went out and I went to premix for the oil.

I rebuilt the carbs and bought another set and had a powersport shop rebuilt them and put them on.

The ski has 100 hours .

Whatcom is 300 miles from me and if I had taken it there when this problem started I might of saved myself a couple K .

I replaced all the full lines and filled the tank with 110 race gas and Blue Marble 2 stroke oil.

    Seeking advice

    Welcome to the Hulk

110 octane fuel? Is this a race engine?

    Diode for the oil level?

Does this engine have the original ignition system or the Update Kit?

Backfiring - check the crank index. Details via my signature links. Also check the reed valves for damage.
