does anyone know when the rfi actually injects the fuel? and could the injector be moved to the throttle body instead of in the transfer port in the cylinder? I would like to fuel inject the 787 going into my hx but not a rfi motor for a few reasons. but since i have about 3 ski's worth of parts and electronics from rfi ski's thought about running throttle bodies with injectors in them with adapter plates on the stock carb 787 rotary valve cover/ intake manifold. then using the stock rfi mpem and electronics. but was just wondering if the timing of spraying the fuel and the opening of the rotary valve would be correct. I can't find this information anywhere.
