Pulling motor question
hey need help pulling motor I have a broken cam chain , whats the best way to pull it leave motor mounts In rubber mount attached to hull or remove rubber mount with motor , unbolt mount ? also drive shaft slide forward shaft should come out of PTO ?
I didnt build ski so new to pulling mnotor on this particular ski conversion .
Also wires and cables on front of motor are they all grounds I cant see them very well , so there isnt a harness to unplug in this area just unbolt from block ?

You need to pull the pump and d-shaft then remove the midshaft(Depending on what style) you can remove just the one center bolt for the mounts to aid in realignment.

Beerdart is spot on. Slow and steady. Also, much easier if you remove intake manifold first.
