    04 rxp engine alignment 08 supercharger on a 04 rxp

    i bought a 04 rxp with a blown motor i had the engine rebuilt but i was wondering if the engine would have to be aligned its all stock. i also bought a supercharger off a 08 rxp is there anything i need to do to use it on the 04.i know i had jerry rebuild the supercharger on my 03 gtx and i had to shim it with some washers thanks

    Yes, anytime you pull the motor you should align it when re-installing it.it is critical on these skis to have the engine/driveline in line..What type of 08 ski did you get the Scer off of???was it a 255 HP X boat??or a 215 hp standard RXP???if it was and X boat you will need 42 lbs injectors to go along with it..if its a 215 HP Scer you wont need a thing...You will want to check/set the slip on either Scer before install though

    Q: is the only way to align the motor with the use of the correct factory tool, or is there another way.

    The correct and most accurate way is to use the factory alignment tool

    I think you will want to do the 08 oiler mod aswell if ur charger came off an 08

    This is what I use. Shipping to Aus hurt. Cost more than the Tool!
