    Top Speed Testing!

I got a new toy, a Stalker ATS II Radar Gun! Pretty cool, not only does it record current speed and top speed, this is the model that logs all data, so it can later be downloaded and graphed. Oh, and yes, it is water resistant!

Forgive the golf cart data being displayed, I haven't had a chance to take it on the lake to see how far off my GPS readings are... (BTW, the gps readings on the golf cart were off significantly, like 3-5%, on the high side)

Does anyone want to see how fast their ski goes at Sacandaga Lake in August?

    Michael

At low speeds a GPS can be inaccurate. If the GPS has a weak satellite lock that will also mess with the speed accuracy.

I don't know if the radar gun accuracy varies with very low speeds.
