Corrosion and carbon seals--Craigo was right-- (pics)

Todays fun trying to get the old shiot out...and yes, it took several hours and beers. Craigo was right, cutting was a must. Still haven't replaced wear ring and haven't decided what to do about the broken bolt.

EB87, the whole set up and the alternatives that I have tried are not good. Hoping to get real solutions to bad OEM set up, bad aftermarket alternatives. It's a crappy set up and everyone that I know ,that has any real hours on their ski, or has done mods face or will face this issue.

Let me guess, I can't reuse the impeller because the splines are goofed up. Someone please advise.

Spray the cleaner I told you to get and clean it up and then see where she is. You might also want to see about a new used pump in the classifieds.

Would it be obligatory for me to post in this thread?

And - I can't resist offering you a stock impeller with good splines - for free - just so I know that you won't be installing the one in your picture.

The broken bolts, if you can get the other two out the nozzle will come off then you will have an amount of the two broken bolts sticking out of the pump, get them nice and hot and use a pair of grips to spin them out.

You will love how much better it pulls with a new carbon seal in there.
