Hit a log at 60 mph on my 09 rxpx, suggestions?

hit a log at 60mph that was hidden by a water ripple. sound like i hit a rock when it happened. anyway so i now ihave a dime size nick itn the hull down to the fiber glass. its dead center of the hull right underneath where the front of the motor mount is. little to the right. so on top of this nick, its spider cracked the gel coat in a 3x4 area. whats the quickest and best solution to fix this?

epoxie doesnt like to stick to polyester..

dont stress to much ...as long as it is only surface stuff and not broken through..you will be fine..enven if you broke it through it can be fixed.. not seeing it yet...grind it out slightly ..get through the gel coat it is almost 1/8 thick in places..put 1 layer of cloth or 2.....mix csme cavisil in some resin ..use it like bondo...bondo will not stick it has taulk in it..smooth just like auto body work ..re gel coat...gelcoat is a sealer and kind like paint..it is just resin with pigment and some fillers...

From what iv heard its the other way

Epoxy will stick to polyester resin but polyester resin will not stick to epoxy.
