MY 2011 FZR Build (target 85mph)

Here is a list of my current mods

    Riva E1 Supercharger impeller
    Riva Upgraded Super Charger Shaft
    Riva Power Filter
Riva Power Cooler with power cooler cooling kit
    Riva Ride Plate
    Riva Water Box
    Riva Rear Exhaust Kit
    Riva Engine Cooling Kit
    Riva Sponsons
Riva Adjustable nozzle with 86mm ring
    Riva 160mm wear ring

    Skat 16mm 13/21 impeller
    Steering nozzle bored to 91mm

    R&D modded intake grate
    R&D R3 ECU Reflash

I also made sure the pump tunnel and the transom plate we trued, and also epoxied the voids in the transom plate. This virtually eliminated cavitation on the hole shot

I must say that these mods have really woke this ski up, the hole shot and acceleration are unbelievable. Just hit the throttle and hold on!!

My current speed is 82.6 at 8220, Jerry tweaked the prop today looking to get to 8600 and hopefully get to 85mph.

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

what did you do to the r and d intake grate? that could be very dangerous. Your speed will come up with more rpm=more boost=more HP

man a jims plate gives you un believable speeds it picked my ski up 4 mph be careful though iv heard that the jims plate increases the chance of the buck because of the ride plate angle and if your looking for top speed you should try the pump pressure relief mod youll have the same holeshot but wont over stuff the pump and you wont have the buckin problem and another thing you need to find a ss intake grate thats one of the most important parts you dont want to hit a log and have a ruder sticking down in the water slingin your ski around

How's the Riva plate working for you? It seems like others like the R&D plate more when going over 80mph

The Riva plate has been the fastest for me so far. I still have a slight bounce but I think I have got that fixed, I will let you know after the weekend

I got to see this ski in person last weekend. Looks and runs great. Josh, I am sure between you and Jerry it will be running 85+ in no time.

Nice! I like that green & black seat.
Did you get a chance to try the VX plate on that beast with your current mods?
I would think the VX plate alone would put you near 85 mph...

I think you're the first I have ever heard say that...
but it doesn't really surprise me because I have seen how different these FZ's can be set up from the factory.
One of ours tested at 67 mph bone stock and the other one was over 71 mph!
