    SBT Quality Discussion.....Yamaha related products

    I started this thread for jdcash12 to bring his facts to us regarding SBT

    OK then I will start. There is the one Part manufactured by SBT that I have recommended to others here. I do like the way this part works.

    it is the lever arm for the power valves first ones I used were R&D then SBT copied them and offered them cheaper so I used those.

    I am thinking he is asking for specific details about SBT failures that can be contributed to poor workmanship or poor quality parts Bill.

    I think R&D copied those from Wave Eater, It is a great idea and has helped a lot of yamaha owners, to bad yamaha didnt think of it first.

    Wave eaters early machined aluminum pieces installed over the OEM arm. R&D's were a one piece replacement unit.

    I'll answer anything anyone asks, I have been working here at SBT for 4 yrs, before that I ran the service department at a Sea-doo and Polaris dealership since 1999. I'm Sea-doo factory trained and Master Polaris service trained, If I can help with any questions please ask.
