    Finally another 96 XP! HELP!

Well after a whole year drought i finally found another 96 XP. VTS isn't working (shocker), it'll be my first time messing with it so i am hoping the process wont be to bad. My last 2 had no VTS issues. It has
-Rebuilt motor last winter (.20 over Slight port work)
    -Solas XO
    -worx sponsons
    -new hydoturf
    -R&d ride plates
    -R&D intake and FA
    -r&d nozzle 85/88
    -Renthal bars and UMI switches

so i replaced the fuel lines, cleaned the carbs, replaced the filters and went to take it out. well need less to say it wont go over 15 and sputters. So I put it on the lift and found the inside filled with water well above the prop shaft. Starting it i found water pouring in from where the head pipe meets the header. thats when i found this...

So i was pumped about that. found one on ebay for 70 shipped. at this point i decided to go more thoroughly through the boat. all of the exhaust bolts were finger tight which was I'm assuming the root cause of the flange breaking. i also found this sensor loose? any ideas on what it is?

and lastly it appears there should be a line going to this one way valve...any input?

The sensor looks like the over heat buzzer.

If the last pic is the top of the oil tank there is no hose there that is a one way check valve that lets air into the oil tank.

not specifically an over heating buzzer, just the normal beeper

    what prop is on it?
