How long have you been riding and what PWC's you have owned?
I started riding Pwc's in 1987 ( 24 years)
I have owned and ridden 1987 wave runner 500, 1991 vxr 650, 1994 pro vxr 700, 1995 wave raider 700, 1995 wave raider 1100,1995 wave ventura 700 ( wife's ski still own today) 1997 gp1200, 2000 gpr 1200. 2003 gpr (efi) 1300, 2009 FZR sho,
I have also bought and repaired several other skis just to make a few $$$$$$$$.
Thinking back every ski I have owned I modified it from it's original set up even the first wave runner 500 ( I got it up to 36 mph back in 1987) boy that was flying back then. Vxr 650 I got to 50mph, wave raider 700 to 59 mph, wave raider 1100 to 64 mph, gp1200 to 67 mph, gpr 1200 to 79 mph, gpr 1200 w/1300 cyls 83 mph, and fzr with stock s/c wheel 79.5 so far. I guess I am afflicted with trying to modifying these skis.
What do you see when you look back at your past pwc experiences?

Im trying to remember how long I have been riding. I want to say something like 12 years or so. I had a 1995 Polaris SL750, 1995 Kawasaki 750ZXI, 1999 Ultra 150, 2000 Ultra 150, 2007 RXP and now my 2009 FZR. I look back on my old Polaris and how much of a TURD it was. Plus the overall progression of how they all increased in size!

1989 kawi x2,1992 pink vxr,1994 xp,1998 gxr limitid the only ski that I ever owened the first day I got it it sunk in the river and they never replaced it just fixed it still hurts,2002 gp12r top speed moded 71,kawi 750 stand up,seadoo 2002rxdi,seadoo 2000 stx,2009 yamaha fzs low boost wheel top speed 81.3 My current Boat Yamaha sx23. I always whent after the new faster ski that would explain why I would go from Kawi to seedoo to Yamaha. I love my fz now I think they are going to be big shoes to fill...

I rode my dad's brand new Yamaha WaveVenture 1100 in 1997 as a teenager. I bought my first PWC in 2001, it was a 1994 Sea-Doo XP, loved it. Owned many machines after that. All 2 strokes. It's the best hobby/sport in the world in my opinion.

I have own'd OLD SCHOOL for about 8 years now, but have been around boats ,bikes and other small engines most of my life (50+).. I like to work on my own stuff and rebuild it so I dont have the need to buy new..Must be the accomplishment of bringing them back as best as possible for me..
I've only owned used, the multiple WR500s and the GP760 ,thou If I were to run across a GPR or an FZR I could see adding those...Go Yamaha!!
