Weight of 65U? How do you lift yours out?

Everyone is always talking about taking there engines out or putting them in, or there are pics of them on benches. How do you all get the dang engine out of the ski? An engine hoist? a special ski lift that rests on the ski? A garage beam above with a pulley?
And does anyone know how much the 65U weighs?

I am wanting to do a good pressure test on mine soon and i think my exhaust mani may be a problem because I cant ever get the bolts tightened up down there when the engine is in the ski.

I used a come-along, steel cable tied to the ceiling joists in the garage, chain and bracket bolted to the engine...
this is a 1300, but you get the idea...

Thanks for the pics. That's what I had in mind, however, I will be working out of my storage unit which has all my tools and a workbench in it until I find me a house which hopefully will have a garage.

I just take a short piece of chain, securely attach it to the engine and pull it out by hand. Its not that heavy, especially if the carbs and exhaust are removed.

Now thats what im talking about. I didnt think it would be that heavy by looking at it but looks are sometimes deceiving.

I lifted mine out by hand also. I had the carbs and intake removed, but the full exhaust on. It probably weighs about a 100 pounds...maybe 125ish. But I did put it back in with a cherry picker that I borrowed.

I just pull the thing out....with a rug on side wall and jump down and lift it off. I leave the manifold on the exhuast and pull the Stinger and carbs....piece of cake.
