Your carbon seal and bellows are weak and need to be replaced. Also get the speed freaks bellow band when you replace those. You are sucking air from inside the hull. It is normal when you go to a stronger prop.

if you bought a new bellow, you can make things easier getting it out seeing as how you are going to install a new one. I took a utility knife and split it. Freeing it from the carbon ring, you can take a rubber mallet and tap the floating ring back towards the stern or rear of the craft. Once this is done, remove the 'C' clip and pull on the shaft from the rear with light force and it will come out of the engine. Be careful and catch the bearings and note the way they are on the shaft. Slide them off, along with the floating ring and carbon ring. Don't worry too much on the shaft plug as you will be replacing it. Slide the shaft out without banging the splines and put somewhere safe. The shaft is heavier than it looks.
Place the SFR Bellow Band on the OEM bellows BEFORE YOU PLACE IT IN THE SKI.....
As far as re installing it. These steps in order is what I do.
    1. Place carbon ring inside bellow and place in ski. There are two cut outs on the bellow, those need to be facing UP.
    2. Install the clamps and tighten well with a decent amount of force.
    3. Slide the drive shaft in SLOWLY and turning it slightly and ease it through the carbon ring.
    4. Slide the floating ring on the tip and then the bearings.
    5. Slide the floating ring all the way back and the bearings as well. The bearings will fix in place.
    6. Slide the shaft into the engine SLOWLY and gently.
    7. PAY ATTENTION HERE. You can screw shit up quick....
    8. Take a small 12mm socket or similar and place it in the impeller nose cone. It needs to stand vertically and not any other way.
    9. Install the PUMP ONLY. Slowly all-the-while lining up the splines.
    10. Install ONLY 2 bolts on opposite sides diagonally from each other. Slowly tighten each bolt evenly until you notice inside the hull that you can see the groove for the 'C' clip.
    11. If you don't see it, keep tightening. There is a thing as TOO MUCH! Be sure to push the floating ring back as far as you can.
    12. Once you see the groove where the 'C' clip goes, install it FACING UP or where you can see the groove. It is easier to install this way.
    13. After installed. slide the floating ring forward and lock it into place using a rubber mallet or hand strength. You will hear it or feel it lock into place.
    14. Slowly remove the pump evenly and you are good to go. Go back and check the tightness of the norma clamps on the bellow and carbon ring. AND REMOVE THE SOCKET YOU PLACED IN THE IMPELLER
    15. There should be a beer or something of your preference in there somewhere. It is a default setting or step in all of these process'.
    16. Re-install the pump and everything else the way you took it off. You should be good to go.
    You should notice less cavitation.
