    Removal of old silicone?

    I finally got the old pump base off the hull and I am getting ready to install the new pump base. Any tips for getting the old silicone off?

    Brake cleaner works well for me.

    Scrape as much off as possible. I then use an abrasive wheel on a drill. (Scotch Brite material)
