Need help, how to adjust my idle

I'm kinda confused of my 98' gsx limited. I need to raise my idle. Where exactly is the adjuster for the idle. I'm lost at this point. Is it accessable? does anyone have a picture of where it is?

    thanks

what ski/motor? either way you need to take the air box off. where the throttle cable attaches to the carb pulley there is a little screw that needs to be turned in. this pulley has a stop on it that hits this screw.

i don't have to,...if you have the stock air box, lift up the rubber flap thing on the magneto side and it will be right there/the "T" looking thing.

The T looking thing under the accelerator pump linkage? it looks like a plastic capped T? Its got an H next to it tho?

yes i just turned that t thing while sitting in the water and raised my idle so as not to stall while sitting there and yet not high enough to idle at 10mph! lol

No and no. the T bar with the H next to it is the high speed screw for that carb. you are getting close but you need to take tha air box off and find the correct T bar.

i thought this was the idle adjust screw, it hits the plate at the base of the carb like on a car.....with the throttle in the open position

ok you found the correct one. just dont adjust the other one to the right. and yes...you have the gray fuel lines. you need to follow the DIY fuel system cleaning thread at the top of the two stroke performance section.
