How do you get that sweet whine from the Supercharger?

lol, I've seen a couple of videos and the supercharger sounds like an F-16! I have a 255 with stock SC and I barely hear it...what mods have you guys done to have that wicked, cool sound?

I have my fizzle with no filter routed right up to the inlet below the glove box. Sounds pretty wicked but gets annoying on the long rides. The rear air is a good option too. Those are pretty loud.

Yeah I have a home made Fizzle but it's routed up to the front on the left side beside the storage bin. Just to keep it outta water. It's never got wet so far... But is that it? It's just the fact that perhaps rear air is louder or close proximity of the air intake to the recording device?

I also decided not to get the rear air as waves are too big out where I am in the late summer (5+ feet sometimes)...

LOL...I've been on this forum for 2 years...I've heard of the rear air but a scoop? Nope...what's that about? Is there any way to make the rear air safe in rough water...water coming in the back.

Get a prefilter from Riva. It will help out a little. I don't worry with it to much. I also left the front 4" Kanaflex hose in the hull. It takes less than 5 minutes to switch them out.

The 'scoop' is basically a "guzzler" that SFR sells. JLewis makes them and sells them for 60 bucks shipped. Same thing, just 120 bucks less. you will need 3 feet of Kanaflex. Obviously you will need less, but you can trim it down to be exact.

Riva rear air is hands down the loudest!
But, I rarely use it because I enjoy doughnuts and splashing to much...
( although I do loose 200 rpms from front 4inch kanaflex to riva rear air)

Wouldn't say that it was the "cheapest" way....
