    Aftermarket Thermostat Part Number.....

Please! If someone know the part number of a aftermaket thermostat. I think there was a thread about these inside part number but cant find it. I think forum members was just replacing the thermostat or part inside to bring the temp down and without replacing or modifided the housing. Example! Not a Riva kit modification. Thanks Guys!

I used a stant 13376 from your local parts store.
The mod is very easy to do, just drain your coolant before you do it,

I just bough a 160F T-stat at Autozone. Its the same T-stat that is used in SBC engines and Mercruisers. Installed it today and it fits perfect. 9 bucks...

I personally used this thermostat and engine overheated after 6 minutes of idling at boat ramp. Ordered the 18-3555 , replaced it and works great. IMO Don't waste your time with the Autozone or any other Thermostat that looks different than the stock design.
