Usually the options are the same in all courts. You have 2 options, 1) you can go plead "no contest" and pay the fine 2) You can plead not guilty and request a trial.

    DON'T RIDE AT NIGHT!!!!

Just kidding, Compare the time the ticket was wrote, to the official sunset time for that day. If the ticket time is within an hour of the sunset time "you're toast". That is assuming CA laws are the same of course.

Im down to pay it - you guys have any idea how much this ticket costs? I cant get ahold of the courts today

Just some background - we were tethered to my buddies boat until after the fireworks show, then me and my girl got on the RXP and rode from the boat to the harbor, about a 1/2 mile. we got popped on the way in by oceanside PD.

I broke the law and am willing to pay, wanting to know how much it costs

Your lucky you didn't cause a major accident, and it's people like you that give PWC'ers a bad name. basically that move was really stupid, how old are you?

And exactly what type of major accident would that be on the water? Titanic, Exxonvaldez, Deepwater Horizon?
Not saying what he did was right, but come on man, a major accident.
