    C1 fueling talk...

When R&D mentions: "The R1 program file does not require a Powershot Fuel Tuner for use with C1 and C3 Monster Wheels." Were they finding that with the stock IC?? Considering adding a C1 to the mix and exploring what guys who run the C1 have encountered.

I had the R1 with the C3 and was running lean, ECU in mail now going back for the R3. I have a Riva PowerCooler,Ribbon delete,Riva filter, waterbox, thru hull exhuast. R/D said I need the R3.

I spoke with R&D and I was told that you are more than fine running the R3 and C1. I was told that I didn't need a powershot nor did I need an AFR gauge. I plan to get the AFR gauge for peace of mind, but this is a completely safe set up according to R&D.

You don't necessarily NEED an R3. I'm guessing you don't want to run a powershot or a RRFPR... correct?

I have the ET low boost, Powercooler, and R3 and it is running slightly rich without the need for Powershot or RRFPR. I'd imagine the R3 and C1 would be overkill. The R3 is geared more towards bigger boost chargers and those running dual prop or 160mm. That is why they add timing to the bottom end and take it away from the top end. Running a C1 I would say stick with the R2.
I just upgraded from R2 and Riva B1 wheel which was a nice combo as the B1 wheel maxes out around 11.5 psi

Yea, R3 is probably overkill for me I guess.

The R3 may be overkill but you will have room for growth in case you upgrade supercharger wheels down the road. According to Glenn @ R&D, you can safely run the C3 wheel with the R3 and NOT need a powershot. The only thing you would need to do is make sure you have an upgraded intercooler since the added boost would work over the intercooler. Just a heads up for down the road.
