    97 seadoo xp

    ok im working on this guys ski for him it a 97 seadoo xp i had a real bad low end stall so i rebuildt carbs and the fuel pump it helped but there is still some kinda stall there not as bad but i know its there...my question is what are the high and low speed needel setting for this ski as i am a polaris guy but i like working on anything if someone would point me in the right direction id be very thankful...

    also its the 787 model idk if that was the only one they made or not that year.... i can post pics if need be of the ski

    come on guys help me out what the base setting the ski has good compression does not seam to have and carb blow back so i dont think the rotory valve is bad or anything once the ski warms up it seams to go away more and more so im sure its bad carb settings he said he had a guy work on it befor he brought it to me. but id like to have a base setting to go off of this is the first seadoo

    there is a thread at the top of the two stroke performance section that has the stock carb settings in it. I think your "stalling" has to do with the needle and seats. i had that problem once and once i replaced them the problem vanished.

    1997
    SP/XP - Low Speed – 1 3/4 +/- 1/4
    High Speed – 0

    thanks alot man yea i wish they sent u a new needel with the carb kit maybe ill have to replace that to if this doesnt work i think i have a few laying around since polaris uses the same carbs on my pro 785

    Make sure the accelerator pumps are working correctly. These jets being plugged can def cause a low end stumble
