SURFSIDE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Two people are in the hospital after a crash on the water.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units, along with Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission crews, responded to the scene of the accident in the area of 88th Street and Collins Avenue, Sunday.
According to the FWC, a man and a woman were riding their personal watercrafts when the vehicles collided. "All of a sudden we see two jetskis flying across-- like, really fast. And, they stopped," said Kelli Denis, who called police. "And they were on the shore and we thought that they were stuck. So, my dad and my friend, Kevin, went over there to see if they were alright."
Both had to be airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital. The woman was rushed to the trauma unit, while the man is reportedly in more stable condition.
The FWC is currently investigating the crash.

It finally did for me too. I wonder if the marine patrol had a tough time getting their boat off the beach? I hope the ride was going out
