SS ring and NEW 15-19R
Guys I just put togethere my pump I got from Mitch triple mod!
And Installed the SS wear ring and 15-19R all from Riva.
I do have some questions. I had a Skat pump on my XPDi with the SS ring and it had some burn marks from were the prop would hit the SS ring.
Well my clearance for my new RXP Riva 15-19 and SS rings is DAM tight. I mean tight. Question I have is should I be worried about it? How many of you have the SS ring and felt the same thing about it? And does yours have burn marks. I think burn marks mean you are not getting all the power to the water.
Any input would be great.

Tighter is better!
Its normal to get some burn marks on the wear ring, just as you saw with your XPDI. The impeller blades flex, especially when coming out of the hole real hard. This is what causes the rubbing.

is the 15-19r a newly desighned prop?

yep same here... i have some burn marks on mine as well... it looks burned and scuffed to hell, but when you run your finger nail across it there's really no serious wear or lip at all... shallow scratches and burn marks
i do imagine over time the SS wear ring still needs replacement from wear and tear to maintaim optimal perfoamnce, but of course the interval of this compared to plastic is probably quadruple

I would think the ss wear ring is a harder metal than the prop I may be wrong but I had wore down a ss prop but the wear ring looked great...

warer4fire please give us some feed back on the 15/19 3 blade compared to the 4 blade 15/20...

OK, guys thanks!
I just wanted to make sure what I needed to look for that was considered bad.
Sleepless, I have the High boost RR impeller and RR ECU, so I will give thoughts on the difference. I am excited to see what happens. I hopefully will get to go down and run with Ray aka Sundance and see what we think.
Anyone have any suggestions on what nozzle I should use first? I figure I better try stock 83mm first then go from there as I have every ring in between.

Austin, start with the smaller ring first and work your way up. You don't want to be all over the limiter and then have to work your way down.
