    carburator clean

I understand that when I take my carburators in to be cleaned or rebuilt they will disassemble them completely, my question is should they just rebuild them with all the new parts since they are already taken apart or is that just a waste of money and they will operate fine once they are cleaned??

Once you open it up replace everything from genuine Mikuni kits.
Most here will tell you that if you are going to the trouble to tear it down, put it back together right.

If you don't have Mikunis on your ski somebody swapped them out.

the mechanic was wrong they are Mikunis, so whats the verdict on winterizing these carbs so I dont have to have them rebuilt or cleaned every 2 years? should i store with full fuel and sta-bil, or run the carbs dry at the end of the season??

I winterize my ski with little fuel as possible with the added sta-bil. That way when I take it out again next season I'll top off the tank and knowing I have fresh fuel. Not last season fuel...
