    Gas/Air blowing from carb, help?

I am having a problem that has me completely stumped. The one I'm having trouble with is my 96 SPX 717!

The timing of the rotary valve is right, the brass gear isn't stripped, but I'm still having air/starter fluid/gas spray back out of the carbs. Could low compression in the cylinders cause it to blow back out? Any help would be great!!

Your exhaust could be plugged or the most likley cause is incorrect rotary valve timing...better double check...what does the rotary valve surface look like? I needs to be very smooth..
